For more than 30 years, we’ve seen God’s faithfulness woven into every part of Black Hills Christian Academy’s story. From our humble beginning in 1992 to the Christ-centered community we are today, His hand has guided us every step of the way—and we trust He will continue to bless BHCA for generations to come.

The Academy Fund is our school’s primary giving initiative, created to make supporting BHCA simple, focused, and impactful. Its purpose is clear: to invest in students—spiritually, academically, and personally—so they can discover God’s plans for their lives.

Why Give?

While tuition covers many of our operational needs, it doesn’t cover everything. The Academy Fund bridges that gap, allowing us to enhance the BHCA experience in ways that tuition alone cannot. Your gift helps us:

– Expand academic programs and student learning opportunities
– Recruit, retain, and develop passionate, Christ-centered educators
– Upgrade and maintain our facilities
– Provide additional services and opportunities for struggling and advanced learners.
– Funding and offering more athletic and fine art opportunities for all students.
– Foster spiritual growth and discipleship

Our teachers are the heartbeat of BHCA. Supporting their development and well-being ensures that every classroom is led by someone who is equipped, inspired, and deeply committed to our mission.

Impact by the Numbers

In the 2023–24 school year, our community raised nearly $151,000 and provided tuition assistance and scholarships to 20 students.  This generosity allowed us to purchase a school van, elevate our curriculum and programs, provide enrichment opportunities for students, and begin much needed improvements on our building. This year, we’re praying for 100% participation from parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and trustees—because every gift, no matter what the size, makes a lasting impact.
